John and Nancy Hook have served as missionaries with Mission Aviation Fellowship since 1978, and last week they were honored as Missionary of the Week at Shadow Mountain Community Church. John and Nancy Hook have spent 20 years flying in the jungles of Indonesia, then after serving in Haiti, Mali, Suriname, plus an additional three years in Afghanistan, then 11 years training new missionary pilots at Mission Aviation Fellowship (MAF) Headquarters.
John and Nancy are now recruiters in the Southwestern United States and are continually looking for new pilots and mechanics to serve overseas with MAF. MAF needs 30 new pilots a year to help with all the requests coming in from missionaries in 30 different countries. Please pray that God will raise up young pilots and mechanics who have a desire to working the mission field. SDC is proud to have pilots working with this fantastic organization in order to further the Kingdom of God.
