The Adult and Professional Studies Department at SDC is committed to providing an educational experience in an environment supportive of faith and learning that will encourage adult learners to find their purpose and pursue their passion. In order to do accomplish this we offer a variety of services to provide support as you pursue completing your degree. It is our goal to contribute responsive, efficient and effective services that will allow each of our students to experience God’s amazing learning experience at SDC.

Official Transcript Request

In order to obtain official copies of a transcript, the student must submit a signed transcript request form and fee payment to the Registrar's Office.

CLEP Information

The College-Level Examination Program (CLEP) helps you receive college credit for what you already know. Developed by the College Board, CLEP is the most widely accepted credit-by-examination program, and SDC is an approved CLEP Testing Center. You must register for your test directly through CLEP. Once you have your registraion ticket email the SDC CLEP administrator or call 619-201-8683 to schedule a time to take the test here on campus. There is a 20$ proctoring fee that is due at your testing time, payments can be made by cash, check or charge.

Credit for Prior Learning (CPL)

Credit for Prior Learning (CPL) is a process for APS students to earn college credit for past learning. CPL's may be earned through written documentation & portfolios evaluated by college professors who are experts in the various fields.
