Admissions Counselor Transfer Specialist

      The Admissions Counselor Transfer Specialist recruits and builds relationships with prospective freshman and transfer students, interfacing with them throughout the admissions process with the objective of building enrollment in the traditional program.



  • Responsible for building relationships with prospective transfer students and student influencers (youth pastors, high school and community college counselors, etc.) with the object of increasing enrollment.
  • Responsible for scheduling, visiting, and continued contact with community colleges and their subsequent transfer centers.
  • Responsible for recruiting and follow-up of prospective students through emails, phone calls, and other correspondence.
  • Responsible for conducting and tracking transcript evaluations and communicating their results with students
  • Assists in planning travel to recruiting events (college fairs, school visits, church visits, conferences, concerts, etc) in the attempt to build relationships with prospective students but also increasing the visibility of San Diego Christian College.
