What do you like to do in your free time? San Diego has awesome weather and a ton of things to do, so I really like to find new places to see around the city and to be outside as much as possible. I especially love the beach, outdoor art shows, Chargers football, and walking around Balboa Park or downtown San Diego.

What is your favorite SDCC memory? I have so many great memories from my time at SDCC, I really can’t pick just one. Overall, my favorite thing about the college was getting to know friends and professors who not only challenged me academically but also encouraged me spiritually and helped me to see different perspectives.

Where is your favorite place you have traveled? I love to travel and want to see so many places, but so far my favorite place has been Cairo, Egypt. I went to Egypt and Austria with a group of students from SDCC and had a great time seeing the Pyramids and the Red Sea, experiencing Arabic culture, and getting to know my fellow classmates better.

What is your favorite verse? "Rejoice always; pray without ceasing; in everything give thanks; for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus." 1 Thessalonians 5: 16-18

What is your favorite place to eat in San Diego? There is a great sushi place about ten minutes away from SDCC that I love called Banbu. San Diego is also home to some of the best Mexican food in the world, so I like going to the little 'hole in the wall' places for burritos.

What do you like to do in your free time? I’m really into music and songwriting; I play guitar and dabble in ukulele and piano. I’m that guy who listens to bands no one has ever heard of and having a passion for film, I’m also an avid movie goer.  Oh, and I also read a ton.

What is your favorite Bible passage? “For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.” Ephesians 2:8-9

What is your favorite quote?  Nothing puts life into men like a dying savior. – Charles Spurgeon

Where is your favorite place to eat in San Diego?  My Favorite place to eat in San Diego is Mister A’s. The view offers an incredible panoramic view of Downtown San Diego and Point Loma. The location staged a perfect environment when I proposed to my lovely lady and best friend. Mr. A’s is a great special occasion dinner destination.

Favorite San Diego Christian memory?  My first year as an RA I planned a brother/sister hall event to go ice skating in December. The shops around the rink were decorated with Christmas bells and wreaths; however the main focus stood at the far end of the rink where there stood a fully decorated fifty foot Christmas tree. Lifelong friendships were made that night as we skated and fell on the ice, quoted the movie Elf, and sang loud for all to hear.

What do you like to do in your free time?  My free time in San Diego consists of spending time with wife, playing disc golf, and recreational activities outdoors.
