On Saturday, June 21^st, the SDCC athletic department joined USD and SDSU at the themed “Summer of Sport Exhibit” at the San Diego County Fair “It was a great honor for the Hawk Athletic Department to break into an event that impacts San Diego sports culture,” said Ed Garrett, SDCC Athletic Director. “And to be at a state county fair and able to share Christ with the crowd was awesome.”

The time during the showcase was spent sharing the joys of being a student-athlete at San Diego Christian College and what makes it a great college to attend. Those representing the athletic department at the “Summer of Sport” were: Ed Garrett, Athletic Director/Volleyball Coach; Jason Smith, Men’s Basketball Coach; Kevin Dillon, Student-Athlete, Men’s Basketball; Tessa Witt, Student-Athlete, Volleyball; and Kelli Camping, Student-Athlete, Women’s Basketball.
