Brian Moulton, Ph.D., Chair of the Biblical Studies Department
Dr. Brian Moulton holds the Ph.D. in Biblical Studies from Dallas Theological Seminary. He has been married to Laurie since 1984. They have two children, Stephen and Sarah, both raised and working, Stephen as an attorney and Sarah as an elementary music teacher. Brian was born and raised in Minnesota, saved by the Lord at the University of Minnesota at age 21, and has pursued ministry ever since. After nine years at Dallas Theological Seminary, Brian and his young family moved to Nebraska and enjoyed pastoral ministry for many years. Being in California now since 2000, Dr. Moulton believes that “living in California is the greatest!” He also believes that the Word of God is God’s message for every generation, and that every true believer in Jesus Christ is called to help transform lives through Scripture and life example.
Dr. Moulton enjoys presenting scholarly papers at the Evangelical Theological Society on the subjects of Genesis, the Revelation and other pertinent issues. He presently serves as the President of the ETS Far West Region. He also attends and serves at Shadow Mountain Community Church in El Cajon, CA. There he is a deacon, a food pantry helper, and works with his wife Laurie in pre-marital counseling for young couples preparing to be married.
