DUAL CREDIT PROGRAM

Information for Students

San Diego Christian College’s Dual Credit program allows high school students the ability to earn both high school and college credits while in high school. The program is available to junior and senior-level private and public high school students attending a San Diego Christian College Dual Credit Program partner school. Please ask your school’s guidance counselor to see if your school is a participant.

Dual Credit High school students will receive:

An opportunity to gain college credit in high school at an affordable rate.

Credits transferable to almost any university in the nation.

Preparation for the next step in their lives while enjoying high school.

Transferability of SDC Dual Credits

As a four-year liberal arts college accredited by the The WASC Senior College and University Commission, SDC Dual Credits transfer to most colleges and universities across the nation.

Because every institution varies on how they accept, or do not accept, dual credits, it is the responsibility of the student to contact universities prior to registering for SDC Dual Credit courses so they gain an understanding of how credits may or may not transfer.

Taking Dual Credit Classes at your High School

Students often learn about SDC Dual Credit courses through their high school. Guidance counselors will know which courses are SDC Dual Credit and which courses are not. When a student takes a SDC Dual Credit course through their high school, they can choose to register to receive college credit.

Click here to register for SDC Dual Credit courses. Students will need their social security number and a credit card in order to pay the $200 per course fee.

Student Drop/Withdraw Process

A student may drop or withdraw from a course by contacting their guidance counselor. Tuition will be only be returned if withdrawal request is received before course officially begins.  Withdrawing after the deadline for registration will result in no refund and a grade of W.
