SDC’s Purpose and Vision
San Diego Christian College (SDC), as an academic and learning community, aims to prepare academically equipped, culturally and globally involved graduates with a biblical worldview and godly character to serve God. SDC is a religious, non-profit organization (501c3) registered in the state of California. It is our mission to educate and inspire students through the truth of Scripture and the development of competencies that prepare graduates whose purpose is to impact the world.
The Adult Professional Studies (APS) department at SDCC provides opportunities that deliver an educational experience for adult learners in an environment supportive of faith and learning that will encourage them to live their purpose and pursue their passion
The Director of APS Instruction and Services is responsible to lead, direct, and manage all registration services and logistical needs for staff, students, and faculty associated with all APS Programs. S/he is an advocate for non-traditional education and will be asked to provide relevant information for the decision-making process that impacts the SDCC adult learners. S/he will collaborate with the APS leadership team, the faculty, and course developers to serve SDCC with effective use of interactive learning design, instructional strategies, and systems to improve and implement all APS programs.
