Adult Professional Studies Emphasis and Minor Options
San Diego Christian College (SDCC) offers bachelor’s degree programs that aim to educate and inspire students through the truth of Scriptural, while helping them develop professional competencies that will make a meaningful impact in the workplace and the world at large. All degrees offered through the Online Program are available 100% online or as campus-based evening classes.
SDCC’s Online Programs allow students to major in a variety of in-demand disciplines. Bachelor’s degree candidates can further enhance their credentials and marketability with an emphasis or minor in Business, Communication, Leadership, or Psychology and Human Development.
Add an Emphasis or Minor to Your Bachelor’s Degree
To earn a bachelor’s degree online or via evening classes at San Diego Christian College, you must complete 123 credit hours of coursework. The credits required for SDCC’s emphases and minors take the place of a corresponding number of elective credits, so opting for an emphasis or minor will not extend the time required to complete your degree. With an average course load of two classes per five-week term, you can earn your degree in four years.
Each emphasis features four 3-credit courses for a total of 12 credit hours, leaving three courses (9 credits) of general electives. A minor includes the same four classes as the emphasis and adds two additional courses for a total of 18 credit hours, resulting in just one 3-credit elective left to fulfill.
