The Board of Trustees at San Diego Christian College (SDCC) has announced the retirement of President Dr. Paul Ague as of August 2019.
Dr. Paul Ague, SDCC’s tenth president, has served the college for twelve years. He retires after playing a critical role in the development and success of SDCC. For more information on Dr. Paul Ague’s Retirement, click here.
San Diego Christian College is looking for an exemplary leader to serve the institution as its 11th president as we prepare to celebrate 50 years of equipping students academically with a biblical worldview to be culturally and globally involved.
Founded in 1970, San Diego Christian College (SDCC) is a four-year liberal arts college that educates and inspires students through the truth of scripture to prepare them to impact the world for Christ. Offering traditional, non-traditional and graduate programs, SDCC strives to shape students through the integration of faith, service, and learning inside and outside the classroom. Based in Santee, California (East County San Diego) San Diego Christian College offers more than 50 majors, minors and concentrations, and every student graduates with a biblical worldview minor. PRESIDENTIAL SEARCH COMMITTEE
Selecting the college president is an important responsibility of the San Diego Christian College Board of Trustees. The Presidential Search Committee is charged with recommending to the Board of Trustees an individual who is well qualified to lead San Diego Christian College as its next President.
The Committee is comprised of a diverse team of men and women who currently serve on the Board of Trustees, the SDCC administration, staff, or faculty. This Committee is passionate about finding God’s man or woman best qualified to be our next President. The Committee is co-chaired by Dr. Enrique Sanchez and Phil Sparling.
The recommendation is based on criteria approved by the Board in accordance with the policies established in the College Bylaws and Articles of Incorporation and with respect to equal opportunity employment guidelines.
San Diego Christian College seeks an innovative, dynamic, collegial and spiritually sound individual to lead the college as president. The next president is expected to embrace SDDC’s mission and to provide strategic leadership in developing long-term initiatives that will advance the vision of Christian higher education.
