Residential Night Security Guard
SDC’s Purpose and Vision
San Diego Christian College (SDC), as an academic and learning community, aims to prepare academically equipped, culturally and globally involved graduates with a biblical worldview and godly character to serve God. SDC is a religious, non-profit organization (501c3) registered in the state of California. It is our mission to educate and inspire students through the truth of Scripture and the development of competencies that prepare graduates whose purpose is to impact the world.
The Department of Student Life at SDC serves this mission by creating opportunities for students to develop their lives to fullest in Christ; specifically, in the areas of personal and spiritual maturity, healthy relationships, cultural sensitivity, and leadership through service throughout our local and global community.
The Residential Night Security Guard assumes full responsibility for overseeing and managing the general safety and wellbeing of students residing and visiting the SDCC Resident Apartments. The Residential Security Guard serves students by fostering a safe and preventative community and assists by telephone in the evening and on weekends (as needed). He/she will offer limited first aid; oversee all entry and exit of the complex and serve as the liaison between SDCC and local law enforcement authorities.
