By granting transfer credit for a California Teaching Credential and prior classroom experience, this master’s degree program allows working teachers to earn a graduate degree online or via evening classes in just 32 weeks. Courses include ethical decision-making, multicultural education, qualitative research methods, and a capstone project.

TEACHING CREDENTIAL

Graduates with a bachelor’s degree in any major are eligible for SDC’s Teacher Credential Program (TCP), which encompasses the academic coursework and clinical classroom experience required to become a certified teacher in the state of California. You’ll acquire essential qualifications as you learn best practices to engage and inspire students and prepare to earn your Single-Subject or Multiple-Subject Teaching Credential.

COMBINED TEACHER CREDENTIAL AND MA IN TEACHING PROGRAM

Aspiring or relocating educators who wish to embark on a teaching career in California may combine the post-graduate Teacher Credential and MA in Teaching by enrolling in both programs and completing them consecutively.
